Major Ingredients

Surana – Elephant Yam

Considered to be the agrya ousadha ( best remedy) for hemorrhoids. Has multifaceted action in reducing hemorrhoids. Both in structural as well as functional aspect. Improves metabolism, restructures the dilated rectal veins, cares bleeding and smoothens the stool evacuation.

Pancha kolam – The five carminative

According to Ayurveda, Mandagni- loss of metabolism and impaired  digestion is the prime factor for the incidence of hemorrhoids. Panchakolam is a combination of 5 carminative drugs with analgesic, anti-inflammatory and gastro stimulant activities.

Triphala – The fruit triad

An excellent laxative as well as a tissue rejuvenator with proven anti inflammatory and antioxidant activity. Multidimensional activity to improve and regularize metabolism.

Bhallatakam – The Marking Nut

Mentioned in the arshoghna gana of Bhavaprakasha Nighantu. A potent carminative , digestive and excellent anti-inflammatory drug. Corrects the metabolism and provides revitalization of the blood vessels thus preventing  and pacifying the dilatation of the renal blood vessels. With its rasayana action it vitalizes the tissue as well as the enzymatic functions in the body thus improving the body functions and providing increased energy to the body.

Kutaja –

Mentioned in the Arshoghna ganam of Bhavaprakasha nighantu. With excellent pittahara grahi and stambhana activity, it can reduce and regress even bleeding piles. With its anulomana activity pacifies the deranged vata and normalizes its gati.

Vidangam –

It is an excellent anti bacterial drug which act as a very good deworming agent. Further purifies the blood and as well as alimentary tract.

 Recommended dosage

2-0-2 for mild / stage 1 and 2 hemorrhoids

2-2-2- for bleeding/ stage 3 hemorrhoids
